Northern Lakes Senior Living is hiring a casual Registered Nurse. This role is responsible for ensuring that the safety and health needs of Northern Lakes Assisted Living/Memory care senior residents are met at our beautiful senior living building near Brainerd, MN. Our health care team is supported by our NEW Director of Health Services Nurse, along with Triage nurse, Executive Director, resident assistant/caregiver support, housekeeping, activities, and culinary staff.

Casual Nursing schedule includes;

* Casual / On Call
* Shift differential
* Cash Out Wages Before Payday with our New Benefit of Early Wage Access

Responsibilities/Job Description

* Maintains current assessment and documentation using progress notes of assisted living /memory care resident health status
* Implements new and updates current resident care plans
* Coordinates resident health services with internal/external providers and getting orders as needed
* Leads and supervises timely and accurate medication and treatment administration
* Acts as support to Director of Health Services RN, DHS
* Monitors work and performance of licensed and unlicensed support staff

Qualifications

Required:

* Current MN RN license or by start date
* BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently

enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be

obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent

practice

* AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers

Preferred:

* Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
* Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
* Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
