ASSOCIATE PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR

Adecco Medical and Science is hiring an **Associate Patient Care Coordinator** in **Denton, TX** . This role will be onsite. Please see below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.

**Type:** Three-month contract with opportunity for extension or full-time offer

**Hours:** 8AM - 5PM Monday - Friday

**Pay:** $19.00 per hour

**Specific Duties:**

· Greets and welcomes patient in person

· Collects demographic and insurance information

· Checks in or interviews patient to complete appropriate paperwork

· Directs patient to their appointment or procedure

· May assist in scheduling add-on appointments

· Verifies eligibility and benefits information for payers and interprets results

· Obtains signatures from patients as needed

· Collects co-pay or deductibles and respond to questions regarding financial assistance programs available. Refers complex questions as needed

· Uses resources, tools, and procedures to complete accounts in assigned work queues

· Assists patient in completion of request for information forms and submits to appropriate department

· May gather medical record information from all departments for collection

**Education/Requirements:**

· 6+ months of customer service experience in an office environment

· Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products

· Intermediate level of proficiency with computers (dual monitors, navigating between multiple programs, etc.)

· Ability to work 40 hours per week 8 am to 5pm

· Must be 18 years or older

· All TB blood test, MMR, Varicella, Hep B titers, respirator medical clearance required.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

· Insurance experience

· Revenue Cycle Experience

· General office experience

· Primary Care experience
