Emergency Technician at Providence Portland Medical Center- Emergency Department

Multiple Shift and Schedules Available

Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Assists the physician/nurse practitioner during procedures by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment. Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure.

Required qualifications:

* Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
* Upon hire: Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) Annually
* 1-year of relevant experience.
* Patient care or clinical experience preferred.
* Experience acquired during certification or licensure process, military experience as medical personnel or senior clinical nursing student is also considered.



Preferred qualifications:

* Upon hire: Current or previous EMT, Paramedic, Completion of Medical Assistant Program or CNA certificate
