Psychiatry Child physician employment in Virginia : As a Physician Psychiatrist (Child and Adolescent) you will: - Provide Child and Adolescent Psychiatry treatment services in any capacity; including, but not limited to inpatient services, partial hospitalization services, routine and intensive outpatient services, and consultation liaison services. - However, Primary duties will be in an outpatient child and adolescent psychiatry service. - Perform physical and neurological evaluation pertinent to the assessment and diagnosis of psychiatric disorders, and requests appropriate laboratory, EKG, imaging, and psychological evaluations. - Develop biopsychosocial case formulations, arrives at specific diagnosis, and plans multi-modal, problem-oriented treatment. - Establish evaluation techniques, develops treatment and rehabilitation plans and provides appropriate therapeutic treatment services. - Participate in the hospital approved behavioral health training programs. - Provide professional consultation, education, and collaborative medical support to other professional staff, interdisciplinary teams, and military specific liaison/consultation with commanders, agencies and programs. - Prepare and maintains convenience file, outpatient medical record, and inpatient record documentation in accordance with service and hospital Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
