EIT (Electronic Instrumentation & Technology) is looking for an SMT Technician (experience with Siplace equipment a plus) to join our team in our Danville, VA plant We will train and develop an experienced technician who has a desire to learn ASMPT Siplace technology.

Job Description:

The position ofSMT Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ASMPT Siplace equipment.

• Become proficient in systems technologies over time
• Perform complex maintenance repairs and overhauls
• Perform complete documentation of all installations, inspections, maintenance, and repair work, and failures
• Provide support and work with networks, IT infrastructure, SQL databases and servers, etc.
• This may include limited domestic and international travel

Qualifications and Experience:

• Two-year Associate Degree or Technical Certification with extensive experience preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of experience within the electronics industry required
• Experience with SIPLACE & DEK equipment and SIPLACE & DEK software preferred
• Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
