The individual will report to the Corporate Controller and will be responsible for overseeing the integration of all our acquired entities into Compass’s financial systems and processes. The individual will work with the accounting teams of the acquired entities, the outsourced teams as well as with the various functional teams across Compass on the integration process. The ideal candidate is someone who loves challenging opportunities and thrives in a dynamic environment. At Compass You Will:Single-point owner on the controllership team for integration related activitiesResponsible for the end-to-end integration process from strategy design through integration completionResponsible for creating a playbook for M&A accounting integrationsDevelop and maintain a system of controls, policies, and procedures over integration activitiesDesign, develop and maintain KPIs and reports to manage the operations and efficiency of the integration processDrive process improvement and re-engineer integration procedures toward a standard solutionManage the integration process with a high focus on policy alignmentMaintain the integration checklist and monitor progress against milestonesPartner with the business development and operational integration teams on accounting related support Work with the accounts payable and procurement teams on vendor integrationsWork with the treasury team and the acquired entities on onboarding them to our banking platformCollaborate with the close and consolidation teams to facilitate the transition of general ledger activitiesSupport the financial business systems team on system related integrationsCollaborate with various teams including payroll, deal review, financial planning and analysis and external reporting Provide excellent customer service by proactively managing issue resolution Other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned.What We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in accounting6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 6 or more years of supervisory experience Certified Public Accountant (CPA), strongly preferredCombination of public accounting experience and private industry, requiredBig 4 accounting firm experience is a plusExperience working with/in consulting firms or large multinational businesses across multiple geographical entitiesExperience working with various accounting systems, a plus  Experience working in a multi-function shared services and/or outsourcing environment, a plusKnowledge and Targeted CompetenciesAdvanced knowledge of US GAAP coupled with exceptional planning and organization skillsStrong interpersonal skills for interacting with cross functional teams and upper management Strong communication and organizational skills as well as impeccable attention to detailsAbility to multi-task and handle several deadlines simultaneouslyStrong analysis, problem solving and decision-making skills Advanced excel skills, requiredExperience with NetSuite, a plusCompensation: The base pay range for this position is $121,000-$181,700 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location.
