ENDOCRINOLOGY OPPORTUNITY IN DANBURY, CONNECTICUT

Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, is seeking a 6th Endocrinologist to join our established and growing practice in Danbury, Connecticut. New and recent graduates welcome, including 2024 graduates. Generous sign-on bonus and relocation allowance provided.
Danbury is located in suburban Fairfield County, about 60 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York. The practice includes five Endocrinologists, three APPs, and excellent support staff. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses. The practice prides itself in the stability of its physician staffing and values the importance of a work/life balance.
The ideal candidate will be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified/eligible in Endocrinology and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team with some teaching responsibility to residents and medical students. The position is mainly outpatient with some inpatient consults at Danbury Hospital, located just minutes from the office. There will also be opportunity to expand coverage to other area office locations as we continue to grow the practice to meet the needs of our large primary care referral base.

Established in 1885, Danbury Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital providing Greater Danbury area residents convenient access to exceptional care. It consists of 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.
Danbury, Connecticut, in Fairfield County, is located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains. This beautiful suburban location boasts excellent housing and highly rated public and private school systems and universities. As part of the greater NY metropolitan area, the city of Danbury enjoys both proximity to New York City culture and access to a wide array of four season recreational activities. Boston, New York City, New Haven and Hartford are easily accessible via train or car.

Salary Range:
$270,000 - $325,000 annually, commensurate or relative to experience.
