We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yoursAs Adobe continues to drive its Experience Manager (AEM) product line into the Cloud with our SaaS offering we are looking for customer-facing, technology experts to provide guidance to customers on their journey. The Cloud Subject Matter Expert (CSME) will be responsible for both ensuring a successful transition into the new Cloud based offering, and continued optimization and value realization once fully running. The CSME consists of technically savvy individuals who have extensive experience building, supporting web-based applications at the application layer. The result we desire is close collaboration with product engineering and SRE's to deliver an exceptional experience to AEM Cloud Service customers. CSME's are trusted advisors to customers, and the voice of the customer to internal teams.The CSME team has a strong focus on client success and customer governance with frequent interaction with clients ranging from technical development and operational teams through to senior leaders and execs. This includes supporting the continuous improvement of AEM deployments through technical process, optimization of software configurations, training and best practice guidance.The ideal candidate possesses the ability to comfortably investigate and troubleshoot complicated technical issues. A strong working knowledge of AEM and related technologies (such as Java) is essential. Additionally, CSMEs identify patterns of problems and work closely with AEM product engineering and SRE teams to drive observability and develop the procedures and toolsets that are needed in order to bridge communication and optimize the experience of our clients.Candidates should have demonstrable familiarity with a variety of modern cloud-native and automation concepts, practices, and procedures. Proficiency with programming languages (one or more - Java, Python, HTML/CSS/Javascript, etc.), experience with load, functional & UAT testing protocols and tooling as well as good knowledge of CICD and pipeline technologies and DevOps philosophies. The CSME team is a problem-finding and problem-solving team. Candidates should be keen on learning and exploring new technologies. Successful candidates must exhibit a natural ability to take initiative, and lead, join new projects and contribute to the team's success. They must take ownership of critical components in alignment with our team's deliverable and vision and shape their future direction and architecture. Team members will expected be an active participant in planning and executing on quarterly milestones and have impeccable follow through.Finally, CSME's are expected to demonstrate a healthy degree of inquisitiveness to understand and improve the status quo to deliver higher value to our customers and be eager to take on any tasks that need to be accomplished.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $111,700 -- $195,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
