Job Description

NETZSCH Premier Technologies, LLC is looking for a Laboratory Custodian for their Exton, PA facility. The Lab Custodian will support the Laboratory by ensuring cleanliness and organization within laboratory facilities. Primary duties will include:
  • Clean laboratory equipment, such as mills, mixers, stainless steel piping, gaskets, tanks, pumps, etc.
  • Disassemble and reassemble machines for cleaning.
  • Daily and routine custodial duties such as trash, floor cleaning, wall cleaning, control panels, lab countertops, grinding media sieving and cleaning.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, tools and equipment to ensure everything is in working order.
  • Responsible for receiving deliveries of laboratory supplies and stocking them in the appropriate location.
  • Perform light repairs or maintenance on lab test equipment.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have at least 1 year related experience. Previous experience working with hand tools and a mechanical aptitude is preferred. In addition, candidates should have:
  • The ability to communicate effectively and work as a team with other employees.
  • A keen attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
  • The ability to report cleaning and maintenance procedures.
