Body Guitar Clinic, LLC is a non-narcotic pain treatment center located in Overland Park, Kansas. The team, led by Dr. Sean Wheeler, focuses on treating pain by getting to the root of the issue. The process involves addressing motion associated with the individual's pain and forming treatment goals related to a variety of conditions, such as lower back pain, leg pain, neck pain, disc issues, headaches, hip pain, knee pain, and arthritis.


Role Description

The Nurse Practitioner position at Body Guitar Clinic is a part-time/full-time on-site role located in Overland Park, Kansas. As part of the clinical team, you will work collaboratively with patients and physician to assess, diagnose and treat pain. Training for this position will be provided by physician. It will include comprehensive hands-on physical exam, reading MRIs, managing treatment options, and getting to the root of pain. New graduates welcome No experience necessary.

Full time position involves forging into the wellness space and non-patient care responsibilities. Abundant opportunities exist for supervising and educating patients in wellness, anti-inflammatory diet, weight loss and functional medicine.


Qualifications

  • Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current Kansas state licensure and ability to obtain DEA registration
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Pain management experience or interest a plus
