The Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine, a mission-driven institution committed to exemplifying a culture of professionalism and success, is seeking a qualified candidate for a core faculty position. The ideal candidate is an OMM-trained DO with academic experience.

Opportunity Highlights
  • ACOM is the first osteopathic medical school in Alabama and the only osteopathic program in the U.S. that is part of a county healthcare authority providing excellent financial and clinical support
  • An innovative and interdisciplinary four-year curriculum to teach osteopathic medical students, along with a 10,000-square-foot simulation lab expansion that will further enhance ACOM's curriculum and provide many opportunities for experiential learning

  • Clinical faculty teach first-year and second-year students in the classroom (including team teaching with basic science faculty) and in clinical skills labs
