Schedule: 36 hours Nights, Every other weekend

* RN's in the float pool have the opportunity to work in various med/surg units and the ED Observation Unit.
* 12 week initial rotation followed by 6 week assignments.
* Floating to different units exposes you to a wide range of patient care scenarios and medical conditions.
* Working in different units allows float pool RN's to collaborate with a variety of healthcare professionals.
* A variety of assignments can potentially reduce the risk of burnout associated with long-term assignments.

* BSN is required.
* Current licensure in Massachusetts as a registered nurse is required.
* ICU and Med/Surg experience required.
* BLS certification required.
* Adheres to all I C.A.R.E. standards.
* Must show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients.
* Demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities.
* Ability to function under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Must demonstrate effective skills in applying hospital standards in area of service, team work, communication, respect for others, and time/priority management.
