We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified Mailroom Screener with a Top-Secret security clearance with Full Lifestyle Polygraph to join our dedicated team. Job Summary: The Mailroom Screener is responsible for efficiently handling, sorting, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and an understanding of security protocols related to mail handling. Responsibilities: Sort and distribute incoming mail to appropriate departments or individuals. Examine packages and envelopes for suspicious materials, following company and regulatory guidelines. Use equipment such as x-ray machines or chemical detection tools to screen mail as necessary. Process outgoing mail, ensuring items are correctly labeled, stamped, and sorted for dispatch. Keep records of received and dispatched mail. Coordinate with security or management about any suspicious or unidentified packages. Ensure that the mailroom remains organized and that materials are stored properly. Manage and reorder mailroom supplies as necessary. Stay updated with the latest postal regulations and pricing. Handle sensitive or confidential mail with discretion.
