architecture, and has an understanding of JavaScript, XML, Active Directory, VMWARE, and Windows

* Develops and maintains code and associated test scripts to meet defined requirements.
* Supports the planning of systems and development deployments as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.
* Evaluates the interface between hardware and software, operational requirements and the characteristics of an overall system.
* Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensuring the hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinating and/or modifying systems parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
* Revises existing systems, testing functionality of the system to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, data integrity, conversion, input requirements, and storage.
* Provide the documentation, testing and maintenance of system updates, modifications and configurations.
* Practical application and troubleshooting experience with systems that interface with Active Directory, in an enterprise level, globally distributed environment.
* Experience running scripts to manage/automate tasks related to Windows platforms.
* Customer support experience to include phone, email and in person contact as well as experience assisting end users with new desktop capabilities and/or software.
* Collaborates with other members of the Solution Architecture team to complete integration with required core services, system security plan and existing infrastructure. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT related field and/or combination of experience and education.
* DoD 8570 IAT II certification
* Security+
* One of the following DoD approved certifications is necessary to meet the category/level IAT-2 (DoD 8570) requirement for this
position: GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), CASP, GCIH, GCED
* Computing Environment certification: MCSE, VMware Certified Professional or Advance Professional certification, Windows 2019, Active Directory.
* 10+ years focused on: (1) Architecting, designing, engineering, integrating, deploying, and maintaining data center Infrastructure preferably within the DOD.; (2) Hardware to include compute, network, & storage; (3) Implementing DOD Security Controls; (4) VMware System Administration experience; (5) Developing documentation for architectures, designs, engineering, and operational support
* 15+ years engineering experience in the design, development and implementation of software development tools to include developing and testing software solutions; analyzing system performance standards, analyzing systems flow, data usage and work processes; conferring with users and management to derive system requirements; problem investigation and resolution.
* Engineering experience with Microsoft Active Directory to include: Granting privileged Access, Configuring Active Directory Services (ADDS), Group Policy, Objects, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), File Sharing services, Active roles Server (ARS).
* Experience providing Tier 3 support in an enterprise level, globally distributed environment. Experience creating quality Detailed Design documents, Test Plans, Implementation Plans and Standard Operating Procedures. Demonstrated aptitude for learning and rapidly mastering new applications and technology. Desired Skills: * Ability to harden VMware environments according to DISA STIG
* Ability to mentor junior and mid-level team members to be more proficient in the tasks and activities associated with the management of an cloud environment
