This role offers the unique opportunity to craft and own IT strategies, driving both technological and business growth. In this role, you will support a user base of 350+ employees in two locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead IT operations and network security, aligning them with organizational goals
- Supervise a talented team of 3 IT professionals, fostering growth and providing guidance
- Develop and manage IT strategies, budgets, and goals to support business objectives
- Evaluate and implement technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to address business needs and optimize technology use
- Oversee system performance, making recommendations for improvements
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and cybersecurity standards
- Manage asset inventory and warranty tracking
- Implement disaster recovery and backup procedures, and provide strategic security leadership
Background Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in IT management, including leadership roles
- Proven experience in developing and implementing IT strategies and plans
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems
- Expertise in network security and data protection
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and backup systems
- Familiarity with software development life cycle and database management
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity standards and compliance
