Intelligence Specialist

Duties * Serves as the technical leader and senior SIGINT analyst in the command and primary liaison between ACIC and NSA analysis and production elements. * Serves as the SIGINT Support Element (SSE) lead analyst responsible for managing, directing, and fusing SIGINT for ACIC. * Maintains awareness of internal and external collection requirement and priorities. * Identify collections requirements in the form of Information Needs (IN) as reflected in the Unified Engagement Environment (UEE) as well as tactical requirements in national systems such as PRISM. * Researches and analyzes social networks and COMINT externals data using NSA databases and tools to develop patterns of life, network exploitation, and target development of foreign targets and/or organizations of interest. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * Two year trial/probationary period may be required. * In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a TS (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI). * TDY travel is required 10% or less of the time. * All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management. * Required to take and maintain a current counterintelligence scope polygraph * Must be able to obtain and maintain access to National Security Agency and Defense Intelligence Agency accredited facilities and networks. Utilizing one or more of the following databases: PULSE, GATEKEEPER, UEE, Analyst's Notebook, IC Reach, Proton, SILENT DAGGER, RMT, TIDE, SAVANT, PINPOINT, and MIST. Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
