In this role you will work on the Data Systems Evolution Team to provide O&M support and build a new web application to replace several legacy systems. You will work with major data support by a data broker system and migrate several on-site systems to a new secure, custom web and database application. Are you ready to make an impact? Begin your journey of a flourishing and meaningful career, share your resume with us today Responsibilities Include: * Providing O&M support for the existing web application used for procurement, system configuration and deployment data, and IT asset management support.
* Implementing changes to applications and data workflows based on client requirements.
* Providing feedback to client on application modifications which will increase performance.
* Monitoring the application(s) to provide status awareness and including a resolution plans for the application in the event of its failure.
* Assisting in preparing all documentation required for client’s system security approval.
* Complying with the client’s Risk Management (i.e., cyber security) Framework to ensure that the program addresses and mitigates vulnerabilities and risks identified throughout the lifecycle of the project.
* Providing direct Tier 3 customer support to resolve any application issues that result in customer difficulties.
* Using a client-approved tracking system for new requirements and issues.
* With client oversight, translating business needs to technical requirements for implementation of a new custom application.
* Developing interactive dashboards, reports, and other visualization tools to facilitate data-driven decision making.
* Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand the data’s nature and requirements.
* Leveraging expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, D3.js, and others to support data validation and auditing dashboards.
* Tracking and resolving programming bugs in a legacy application using the Java software language.
* Producing code to enable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) services to consume data from other external systems.
* Ensuring the ETL code adapts to models built in client’s primary new application system.
* Designing data migration programs to ensure consumption of legacy data into the new systems.
* Deploying, operating and maintaining web services within the client’s cloud environment.
* Utilizing knowledge of cloud services such as CloudFormation Templates, Load Balancer, Autoscaling, Security Groups, S3 and KMS. Clearance Required: * Active TS/SCI with polygraph Required Experience, Skills, and Education: * Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience. Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
* Demonstrated experience working on an application built upon a client/server-based architecture.
* Demonstrated experience maintaining interfaces to other applications or databases.
* Demonstrated experience using Java and Oracle PL/SQL languages.
* Demonstrated experience understanding Oracle Siebel CRM data architecture.
* Demonstrated experience creating and reviewing documentation related to System Security Plans, or Body of Evidence (BoE) documentation.
* Demonstrated experience providing customer support for a technical application.
* Demonstrated experience developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers in support of applications.
* Demonstrated experience developing using appropriate procedure, query, or package changes and optimizations to ensure and improve system performance and reliability.
* Demonstrated experience installing and configuring database environment systems.
* Demonstrated experience or familiarity with Cloud services.
* Demonstrated experience automating configuration and provisioning of cloud resources. Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education: * Demonstrated experience with client’s A&A processes.
* Demonstrated experience in understanding the client department’s capabilities.
* Demonstrated experience reporting design, reliability, and maintenance problems or bugs related to an application.
* Demonstrated experience tracking and resolving discrepancy reports.
* Demonstrated experience or familiarity with Red Hat, CentOS, or Rocky.
* Demonstrated experience developing using DevOps Tools such as GIT Hub, JIRA, or Confluence.
* Demonstrated experience developing using REST Web services.
* Demonstrated experience developing using Spring, Spring Security or Hibernate.
* Demonstrated experience leveraging TomCat as a webserver.
