Meade area, MD. Program Summary
  Leidos is a preferred subcontractor on a large, multi-year contract that develops, integrates deploys, and sustains large collection systems. The work is extremely important to the government and offers its team members the opportunity to work autonomously and explore new technologies. We provide exceptional service to our customer in an area in which we have deep incumbent knowledge. Significant requirements include Mission Management, Operations, and Sustainment activities. The team will provide 24x7x365 support to multiple Operations Teams and will feature 1st/2nd/3rd Party Partner Engagement. Job Summary The System Engineer applies engineering principles throughout a system’s life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed. Personnel across this TTO are performing architecture modernization/evolution as well as integration, test, and deployment, and are working with the following technologies: LINUX, REDHAWK, Docker/Kubernetes, Python, Java, Angula, Ansible Git The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive RF background and be willing to travel. Security Clearance Requirement: * Must possess active TS/SCI with a polygraph to be considered for this role. Required Qualifications * TS/SCI with Polygraph
* Twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience * A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. * Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Pay Range: Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
