Cognos/ETL Developer Location: Quantico Clearance: Top Secret Company Overview: Our client was founded in 1983. Program: Our client has received a contract to provide Information Technology (IT) support services to the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). Our client will deliver enterprise IT solutions, from Service Desk and O&M, supporting new system engineering projects at AFOSI HQ and operating locations worldwide. Our client secured the award through a task order issued under its US Air Force NETCENTS II Network Operations Small Business contract vehicle. The Air Force Office of Special Investigations provides professional investigative service to commanders of all Air Force activities. AFOSI identifies, investigates, and neutralizes criminal, terrorist, and espionage threats to Air Force and Department of Defense personnel and resources. The command focuses on five priorities: * Develop and retain a force capable of meeting Air Force needs
* Detect and provide early warning of worldwide threats to the Air Force
* Identify and resolve crime that threatens Air Force readiness or good order and discipline
* Combat threats to information systems and technologies
* Detect and defeat fraud impacting force acquisitions and base-level capabilities
Major Duties & Responsibilities: * Support Cognos program systems, including installations, configuration, patching, upgrading, and performance tuning for Cognos Analytics application/web servers and IBM InfoSphere/DataStage servers in a DoD environment.
* Assist with customer requirements for Cognos Data Modules, Reports and Dashboards.
* Support validation and testing.
* Provide application security vulnerability mitigation and STIG management for Cognos and IBM software.
* Ensure that all application deliverables and systems comply with applicable DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) or Security Requirements Guides.
* Assist with customer requirements for Cognos Data Modules, Reports and Dashboards.
* Assist with IBM Cognos Security and Administration functions.
* Identify and report system risks.
Job Requirements: Required: * 3+ years' experience using Cognos Analytics 11+. * Strong knowledge of SQL scripting and data relationships.
* Experience with Cognos Analytics 11+ and IBM InfoSphere, DataStage, and QualityStage.
* Must have experience applying STIGs.
* Experience creating, reviewing, and revising security documentation and artifacts.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows technologies (server 2019/2022), including Active Directory, server cert management, and IIS (10).
* Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining IBM Cognos and InfoServer.
* Experience with Oracle 19 databases and SQL scripting.
* Strong attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
* Able to work independently and with a team
Desired: * Bachelor's degree in a related field
* Cognos Analytics Security and Administration certification * Experience in a DoD or law enforcement environment desired.
Certifications: * Must be certified at IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, or other certification satisfying DoD 8140 certification requirements).
