Senior Portfolio Manager with Security Clearance

RPI seeks a seasoned and motivated Senior Portfolio Manager to lead a team advising a fast-paced Pentagon office on energy technology and policy. This candidate is a proven leader who serves as a technical advisor and principal executive to the Director of the Navy Operational Energy Office. The candidate will: Collaborate with energy leaders in industry, academia and the government with the chance to build relationships and grow a professional network.
Lead and mentor a diverse team to prepare and execute a dynamic technical portfolio.
Create a strategy for next-generation energy technology and drive energy policy.
Prepare technical studies and analyses which influence energy strategy and national security. Roles and Responsibilities: The Senior Portfolio Manager will: Organize day-to-day business functions to drive long-term strategy and communications.
Manage relationships with energy leaders in industry, academia and the government.
Shape strategic communications to build constituencies with internal and external stakeholders.
Develop Operational Energy focus areas and prioritize projects and studies. Qualifications and Education Requirements: 2 years of the last 5 years’ experience in operational energy technology
Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, management, or a similar discipline
US Citizen SECRET clearance Preferred Skills: 10+ years of leadership and management experience
Experience in project management
Prior experience with technology integration and acquisition requirements for Navy and Marine Corps platforms and weapons systems Master’s degree in science, engineering, management, or a similar discipline *EOE, including disability/vets
