Their products and solutions contribute to conserving resources, ensuring nutrition and improving quality of life. Our client is expanding and seeking an Aeronautical Engineer in Marietta, GA.
Responsibilities:
• This position is for an Airframe Structure Design Engineer for an Advanced Development Programs (ADP) effort in Marietta, GA. • A successful candidate will apply technical expertise in developing solutions to aircraft structural design problems. • This position will require a successful applicant to develop airframe design solutions under general direction and independently. • They will coordinate efforts across a wide range of functional organizations, such as Quality Assurance, Planning, Tooling, Structural Analysis, Materials & Processes, Flight Sciences, Production Operations, Flight Test, and various other engineering disciplines. • Designs, develops, and tests a variety of, aircraft, missiles, and parts, taking into consideration the most efficient use of the natural laws affecting flight. • Establishes structural specifications, performs stress analysis, and conducts performance tests. Requirements:
• Experience with 3D Experience or CATIA V5
• Experience with Model Based Definition
• Experience with Full-Sized Determinant Assembly
• Experience with primary and secondary structure design in aircraft
• Experience with subsystem installation design
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience with structural analysis for preliminary sizing Required Skills:
• CATIA V5 or V6 (3DX)
• Airframe structure design experience
• Clearance: Secret Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property. Education: Level 3: BS+9-15 YRS or MS+7-13 YRS
Location: Marietta, GA 30060
Pay Rate: The pay range for this position is $80.00 – 105.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Work Schedule: 4/10 Length of Assignment: Contract - hire
