Duties * Develop performance standards and evaluates work performance of subordinate managers/supervisors. * Inform higher headquarters on maintenance plans, support concerns, facilities, technical problems, budgeting and special projects. * Direct mission execution, long range planning, organizational structure, goals and objectives. * Coordinate work to be accomplished and establish priorities. * Represent the command at seminars, pre-camp conferences, and meetings pertaining to the Equipment Concentration Site (ECS) support operation. * Analyze operations to identity areas in need of improvement. * Resolve employee complaints and group grievances. * Develop plans, policies, programs and procedures to achieve maximum efficiency of operations. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing storage, maintenance, supply and quality assurance; making determinations regarding equipment use, compatibility and condition; developing plans, policies, programs and procedures for shop operations; and supervising daily activities of a full time staff. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
