Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM SPECIALIST in the Commander Naval Surface Force (COMNAVSURFLANT/CNSL) of COMNAVSURFLANT. Duties * You will plan, organize, implement and manage the operation efforts of the Directorate relative to scheduling, training and readiness events as well as provide professional guidance in matters relating to operational reporting requirements. * You will coordinate and integrate contract ERAT/CSRAT teams along with INSURV Readiness Assistance Teams (IRAT) to ensure correct skill sets and personnel are assigned to support scheduled events. * You will serve as Directorate's Subject Matter Expert (SME) for readiness events to ensure strict compliance to all reference documents utilized in the implementation of processes. * You will coordinate submission of proposed scheduled readiness events for consolidation and submission into the CTF 80 Quarterly Scheduling Conferences. * You will track the completion of readiness events to ensure compliance with SFRM requirements. * You will promote and ensure adherence to the SFTRM, AEGIS Ashore Readiness Manual (AARM) and other pertinent directives to support CNSL and N44 Directorate policies, procedures and operations. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. * This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications To qualify for a GS 11 position your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
* Experience serving as the primary scheduling and operations program specialist and subject matter expert (SME) responsible for analyzing operations and assessment requirements, planning, scheduling and reporting.
* Experience recommending interpretations to technical policy, procedures, and regulations and providing technical and administrative advice and assistance to resolve problems and maintain continuity of readiness and assessment program work.
* Experience planning, organizing, implementing and managing assessments schedules as well as providing schedules and reports.
* Experience analyzing operational and readiness requirements for ships and subordinate commands by using numbered fleet and Type Commander (TYCOM) plans and directives.
* Experience providing readiness event scheduling assistance for permanent and temporary assigned ships and pre-commissioning units.
