As a Battery Storage Engineer in the renewable energy sector, you will lead efforts to integrate advanced battery storage systems with renewable energy sources. This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of power storage across diverse renewable projects. Your expertise will directly contribute to increasing the grid's capacity to utilize renewable energy through innovative storage solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design battery storage systems that effectively integrate with solar, wind, and other renewable energy sources.
  • Collaborate with project teams and external partners to deliver systems that are both technically sound and environmentally sustainable.
  • Use advanced simulation tools to model system behaviors and predict performance under various conditions.
  • Manage project lifecycles from design through implementation, ensuring adherence to timeframes and budgets.
  • Evaluate and iterate on system designs based on performance data and research developments.
  • Prepare clear and impactful reports and presentations for both technical and stakeholder audiences.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing to foster an environment of learning and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master s Degree preferred.
  • Experience in battery storage or a closely related field, with a demonstrated focus on renewable energy applications.
  • Strong proficiency with electrical design and simulation software (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, AutoCAD).
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences and explaining complex concepts clearly.
  • A passion for sustainability and advancing renewable energy technologies.
