We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our team. The Systems Administrator will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex C5ISR systems and infrastructure solutions, spanning Information Operations (IO), METOC, and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the organization's computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Work you'll do * Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and network infrastructure to ensure their optimal performance and security * Monitor system performance and resource utilization, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to minimize downtime * Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to safeguard system integrity and data confidentiality * Perform routine system backups and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure continuity * Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and test system upgrades and enhancements * Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and provide timely resolutions to minimize disruption to operations * Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in system administration and network management * Provide technical support and assistance to end users, addressing their IT-related concerns and inquiries * Participate in on-call rotations and respond to system emergencies and outages as needed The Team Our Core Technology Operations (CTO) team offers differentiated operate services for our clients with solutions to help organizations scale and optimize critical business operations, drive speed to outcome, deliver business transformation, and build resilience in an uncertain future. Qualifications Required: * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future * Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or other technical field; * 3 years of experience in system administration or a similar role, managing complex IT infrastructures * Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems and their administration * Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V * Experience in managing network devices, firewalls, and routers * Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions, as well as disaster recovery planning and implementation * Active Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility Preferred: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems * Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security best practices * Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) * Familiarity with agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and related tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) * Active TS/SCI Government Clearance For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York State, and Washington State, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,000 to $163,000. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
