We are actively hiring a Russian Linguist to join our team working in Reston, VA. You will be responsible for supporting a government agency and your office with translation, transcription, and/or interpretation services. RESPONSIBILITIES * In this role, linguists will use native or near native reading and writing skills and cultural expertise. * Linguists will be involved in the review of vernacular reporting and broadcasts for translation and transcription into English. * As needed, linguists may be asked to travel for short-term TDYs to domestic and foreign locations to include warzones REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph * Bachelor's degree desired * Interpretation between source and target languages * Translation into English and target language * Transcription into English and target language * Summarizing/Gisting while drawing upon linguistic or cultural expertise * Terminology Management PREFERRED SKILLS * Translation Related Services * Blogging while drawing upon linguistic/cultural expertise * Quality Control and Editing of language products * Monitoring published, online and broadcast media to identify relevant content * Writing Reports * Subject Matter Expertise in Counterterrorism, Cyber and Economics areas of focus
