AEGIS Senior Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Mount Indie is hiring an AEGIS Senior Systems Engineer to join a team supporting a Missile Defense Agency program in Dahlgren, VA. In this role, you will be part of a talented and mission-oriented professional team of federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers and Contract staff who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get missile defense capability out to the Fleet. This role will join a team of some of the best and brightest Engineers and Scientists our country has to offer who are each contributing to the development and fielding of capabilities in the field of hypersonic missile defense. This position is located on-site in Dahlgren, VA. Position Duties: •Provide direct support to the MDA program office in the integration of the Aegis Weapons systems •Streamline the integration process to support schedule, cost, risk reduction. •Under the purview of MDA, provide support for requirement verification through onsite test observation and inspection. •Provide Data management and Configuration Management. •Provide technical support by reviewing changes and participating in Working Groups as needed. •Provide integration and validation support of mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems •Program management support for program lifecycle cost, program planning, schedule, and risk management •Support all elements of the Systems Engineering V - Lifecycle Required Qualifications: •Master's Degree in STEM with 12+ years' of experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 20+ years' of experience in lieu of Master's Degree •US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance •Ability to apply Engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems •Familiarity with Navy Weapon Systems Desired Qualifications: •Active TS/SCI Clearance •Prior experience/knowledge of/with Aegis Weapons Systems •Experience with Missile Systems Engineering •Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.
