Job Title: SQL Server DBA
Location: Lafayette, LA/ Raleigh, NC/Bloomfield, CT

Duration: Longterm Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Bachelor s Degree with at least 8+ years of experience in:
. SQL Server DBA with : 6+ years of SQL Server (all versions); 3+ years of strong Linux background; 3+ years of scripting experience; Experience with both relational and non-relational DB s like DB2, Mongo, Oracle
Expert level knowledge of stored procedures, SQL, SQL queries and performance optimization
Provide day-to-day support for SQL databases aligned to applications
Provide database administration for a variety of mission-critical custom and packaged software applications
Experienced in performance tuning and optimization analysis, troubleshooting/best practices and procedures
Ability to mentor/supplement DBA team members
Design storage strategies around backup and recovery for complex database environments, physical structures, and specialized database applications
Partner with agile project teams and interact with enterprise DBAs to find solutions for projects and operational issues in existing and proposed databases
Act as a liaison serving as primary point of contact between application development segments and database administrators
Administration of Oracle distributed implementations, including database definition, structure, documentation and long-range requirements
Understands stored procedures, SQL, SQL queries and performance optimization
Understand and follow industry best practices and standards
Provide standardization and consistency across environments
Ensure a stable and secure database environment
Implement and monitor database functionality to ensure stable environments
Required Skills SQL Server DBA experience, Golden Gate experience is nice to have, Experience with Materialized Views, experience with Qlik, Linux, Mongo and DB 2 (nice to have), scripting experience, Query tuning and optimization, Capacity, storage and performance assessment and recommendation experience, Experience with CICD tools GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube, Checkmarx
