CYBER TECHNOLOGY ADVISOR with Security Clearance

Duties * Helps to match previously approved requirements and those in development to enable ARCYBER and Joint Force Headquarters Cyber to ensure requirements are synchronized and will realize strategic future cyber force mission needs. * Ensures that development efforts, experimentation, studies and modeling, and simulation, supports emerging new requirements. * Negotiates effectively with senior-level management to obtain resolution and achieve implementation of initiatives. * Researches new technology, analyzes and determines the long-range impact of new concepts, new systems, and new organizations. * Develops modernization strategies to ensure capability gaps are recognized and solutions resourced. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * Three year trial/probationary period may be required. * Must obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS-SCI). * Must undergo and successfully complete an initial and periodic Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI). * Must pass an initial and periodic urinalysis screening for illegal drug use. * Must be able to obtain and maintain access to NSA and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) accredited facilities and networks. [Military Affairs Desk Officer (MADO) Security In-Processing (SIP) process.] * Requires approximately 25% TDY. * May be required to work flexible work schedule to include weekend and holidays. * Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports) upon entering the position and annually.
