PROFESSIONAL AFFAIRS CLERK with Security Clearance

Duties * You will present orally and in writing, professional subject matter involving CCPD operations, credentialing and privileging principles, and medical/legal operations. * You will analyze, verify, adapt and extend procedural guides and regulations to situations encountered in planning and accomplishing the work. * You will write reports outlining the processes and procedures used in a study, the condition of the management or program operations and recommend improvements. * You will ensure only designated personnel have access to the files and that no material is inserted or removed without approval of the Privileging Authority or his/her designee's. * You will initiate and maintain contact with educational institutions, state licensing agencies, federal regulating agencies etc. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Must be a US Citizen. * Must be determined suitable for federal employment. * Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. * New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Qualifications FOR THE GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: * Experience establishing and maintaining Individual Professional Files (IDF) or Individual credentialing files (ICF) in correct format and order; * Experience managing the medical credentialing review and clinical privileging recommendations process; * Experience applying credentialing techniques and procedures to plan and complete assignments or programs; * Experience receiving, reviewing, initiating actions, and providing guidance on completion of provider's applications for clinical privilege/staff appointments. FOR THE GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: * Experience maintaining records and documents, which represent an organization; * Experience answering questions relating to credentialing reviews and privileging processes; * Experience updating internal files for the organization. * Experience developing detailed procedures and functions to enter and print data in various formats to meet reporting requirements.
