NetApp - Storage Engineer - Top Secret SCI Clearance - Greenville, TX (Rivet Joint) Entelligence is seeking a Senior Consultant to support one NetApp clients. The successful candidate must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and interact with representatives from Entelligence, NetApp, and the end-user. This position is for a Storage Consultant with expertise in data storage networks, consisting of NetApp. A strong background and experience with NetApp's core technologies is required to be successful in this role, the candidate will be required to manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot and support customers accessing customer storage services. Knowledge of VMWare, Redhat/Linus, and CVO is desired (but not required). **Please note that this position requires Active DOD Top Secret SCI Clearance** Required skills: * Five or more years of experience with enterprise level IT environments * Two or more years of experience with network attached storage administration * Expected to work during mission critical situations * Ability to be onsite to perform physical tasks and/or meet and greet with teams and leadership * Security+, with ability to obtain CASP+ and/or CISSP within 3 months of hire * SnapCenter, Secure AIQ, Cluster Ontap, Snapmirror, Cohesity, Oncommand Insight. * Candidate works with the Virtual Infrastructure team as well to deliver NFS Datastores, Luns, CIFS shares and any plugins needed for VMWare 6.7 and upcoming 7.x builds
Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for the configuration, security and maintenance of highly available enterprise data storage * Systems * Skilled at proactive monitoring of the ongoing operation of storage systems and providing utilization * reports to identify problems and corrective actions as needed * Provide input for, and develop documentation/standard operating procedures (SOP) that result in * repeatable processes for installation and setup and all artifacts that support the rational; -the how and why we did it this way- * Develop and publish team vetted storage standards and policies as needed * Work within the Navy's ServiceNow formerly Agile Framework * Work closely with account team to identify potential opportunities for NetApp to complement the Marine Corps needs
Required Interpersonal Traits: * A team mindset * Strong communication skills, written and oral * Solid desire to learn the customer storage environment * Ability to work within an Agile-type Framework.
Desired Skills and Certifications: * Working knowledge of DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Security Readiness * Review (SRR) scripts, and Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) * Experience with NetApp (ONTAP) and NetApp Cloud technologies skills * NCDA and/or NCIA
Education: * Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
