IT Specialist

Systems Administrator/Network Engineer Fairfax, VA Be a part of a small team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a multi-faceted
network infrastructure with strict security, fault tolerance and availability requirements. Areas of
involvement include rack level, data center, and transport layers. Most work is performed on-site at the
Fairfax location, but some travel may be required to the Denver location. This is in support of all in
house networks located at both Fairfax and Denver locations. Technical Requirements:  Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience in network implementation and maintenance  Proficiency with Cisco and HP networking devices  Proficiency with multiple network protocols, to include, TCP/IP, IPv4, UDP, TLS, VPLS, GRE  Experience configuring, maintaining, or troubleshooting: o Routing Protocols (i.e. OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP). o Virtual LAN’s and Trunking (VLAN’s). o Local Area Network (LAN) and/or Wide Area Network (WAN). o Network Controlled Interfaces/Security: Firewall, ACL.  Security+ or CISSP Certification  Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in groups Required Skills:  Experience engaging with and working seamlessly within a team  Experience with networking Linux and/or Windows systems to include system administration  Willing to assist in all aspects of IT Support TS/SCI clearance required.
