Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a BI Application Developer to work in Huntsville, AL, Chantilly, VA, Quantico, VA or Washington, DC. This position has multiple openings, requiring work to be performed 100% onsite in one of the listed locations. The BI Application Developer will help to move a federal client's Data Warehouse from Oracle Enterprise Edition to the AWS cloud, offering a prime opportunity for those eager to improve their BI development expertise. *Must have an Active Top Secret clearance* Responsibilities of the BI Application Developer include: * Collaborate with our AWS Solutions Architect and Data Warehouse Engineer to migrate the TIBCO WebFOCUS application from on-premises to AWS, modifying code and objects as necessary. * Utilize Business Intelligence Client Server, Report Server, and Data Migrator for successful cloud transition tasks.
* Facilitate data connectivity and integration by creating TIBCO stored procedures and setting up adapter connections. * Generate TIBCO reports in formats such as Excel, HTML, and PDF, manage master and access files, and schedule Reportcaster jobs. * Engage with DB Visualizer for AWS Redshift data analysis, develop comprehensive design documentation, and adapt to the dynamic needs of an Agile work environment.
Qualifications for BI Application Developer include: * Solid understanding of AWS services, architecture, and security best practices including IAM and KMS. * Minimum of 2 years of experience in BI tools, specifically TIBCO WebFOCUS Client Server and Data Migrator, with at least 1 year in Report Server * At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Aurora PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, as well as AWS Redshift. * Proficiency in database programming and analysis tools, with a minimum of 1 year using DB Visualizer or similar software. * Excellent communication, collaboration, and QA skills, with experience in Agile/SAFe environments and the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Compensation for the BI Application Developer include: * Salary: $150k
