Redhorse Corporation is looking for a Space Policy Security Specialist to join a team of specialized professionals providing comprehensive security support services, including expert functional, technical, and administrative security support to manage and execute a broad security program for the Security Directorate of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy OUSD(P). The work location for this role is at the Pentagon, with periodic need for travel to the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. This role requires full-time onsite presence, with virtual work or teleworking possible on an as-needed basis with prior approval from the client. Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to the following: * Develop, implement, execute, and administer security policies, processes, and procedures.
* Analyze and process Governmental and contractor requests.
* Maintain data repositories.
* Conduct security indoctrinations and debriefings.
* Develop and document security classification guidance through the form of training resources.
* Execute an operations security program.
* Execute an insider threat program.
* Execute general security administration asks identifying and instituting innovative solutions for organizational challenges.
Minimum Basic Requirements for Skills, Experience, Education, and Credentials include: * Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance, with current eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) (TS/SCI). Applicants who do not posses a current and active TS/SCI security clearance will not be considered for this role.
* US Citizenship is required for this role.
* Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the Space Policy or Special Access Program security functional areas.
* Completed security training from the Cognizant Security Authority (CSA), Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE), within the past three (3) years as part of their professional development.
* Familiarity with the latest policies, processes, and procedures for the Space Policy or Special Access Program security disciplines.
Additional Preferred Skills, Experience, Education, and Credential include: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or 5 additional years of relevant experience with an associate degree or 7 additional years of relevant experience with no degree.
* At least five (5) years combined Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Staff, or Service-level security experience.
* Experience with handling classified correspondence, knowledge of Microsoft Office suite tools, experience in writing, editing, and managing executive correspondence.
* Demonstrated subject matter knowledge of DoD, Intelligence Community (IC), and national-level Space Policy or Special Access Program security policies and procedures.
