Summary The MIL Corporation is seeking an Electronic Warfare Integration Engineer (Systems Engineering, Senior Associate) to support a Department of Defense client from our Patuxent River, MD location. This position currently requires an on-site schedule, with 5 days on-site. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements. Responsibilities * Provide weapon systems acquisition with focus in systems engineering and Electronic Warfare (EW) support to MIL's DoD customer. * Support the research, development, acquisition, test and evaluation, fielding, upgrades, and sustainment of Electronic Warfare (EW) convergent capabilities and risk/benefit assessment methodologies. This includes Cyber-EW considerations. * Contribute technical leadership identifying, formulating, designing and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems. * Guide the engineering development of modern complex EW systems; and employ systems engineering methods and tools in the development of advanced complex systems. * Perform analysis and trade-off studies for candidate solution technologies and capabilities. * Coordinate with associated programs/labs/sites as directed by MIL's DoD customer. * Provide technical and engineering analysis of contractors' proposals. * Contribute to the development of requirement specifications for upgraded and new systems, including those related to Cyber-EW. * Support the Government Customer at briefings, including Flag level. Travel Total travel is expected to be less than 10% to CONUS, and occasionally to OCONUS, sites. Required Qualifications * At least ten (10) or more years of experience in Electronic Warfare (EW) design and development, ideally including DoD Aviation. * Extensive knowledge of DoD Weapon Systems Acquisition Life Cycle and requirements formulation. * 5 or more years as a Lead Systems Engineer in a technically similar top-tier organization involved with aviation, avionics, and weapons systems. * Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and provide technical support to end-users. * Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and work in a fast-paced environment. Desired Qualifications * Experience with DoD Electronic Warfare involving Naval or Air Force Aviation * Master's degree in Systems Engineering from an ABET-accredited university (or 4 years of experience substitution, in addition to the 10+ years experience requirement). * In-depth knowledge of designing, operating, and maintaining aircraft avionics, RADARs, electronic intelligence sensors, electro-optical and IR systems design, development, and operations. * Extensive knowledge in range of Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) used by ISR aircraft. * Hands-on avionics technical experience as a previous member of the US Navy, ideally as an Avionics Technician responsible for airborne sensor operation. * The ability to see the interconnection between Cyber and EW, develop actionable insights for MIL's DoD customer(s), and contribute to the advancement of the state-of-the-art. Education Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Systems, or Aeronautical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college. Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is $150,000 - $210,000 per year.
