Must be local to DC, MD, VA, or within a 2-hour commute.

In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining our Azure DevOps Server environment. You will partner with development teams to ensure they have the tools and resources to deliver high-quality software on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Azure DevOps Server infrastructure, including application servers, databases, and build agents.
  • Manage user access and security permissions within Azure DevOps Server.
  • Configure and optimize Azure DevOps Server to support efficient CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate tasks and processes to streamline development workflows.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest Azure DevOps Server features and updates.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand their needs and provide technical expertise.
  • Document processes and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a system administrator or DevOps engineer with a focus on Microsoft Azure DevOps Server.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps Server architecture, installation, configuration, and administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, SQL Server, and IIS.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation tasks.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Experience with source control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Azure DevOps certification(s), such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, is a plus.
