About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with a strong background in security to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing security projects and will focus on security enhancements and feature development . This role involves integrating new identity access management solutions, enhancing data encryption, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations regarding audit logging. The project is in its early discovery phase, and the contractor will be integral in both development and requirements refinement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Enhancements: Develop and implement security enhancements including identity access management solutions and data encryption (both at rest and in transit).
  • Compliance: Ensure all developments comply with federal regulations, especially in audit logging.
  • Feature Development: Update and enhance web applications, SQL databases, web forms, and other applications as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the development team, including four developers, a project manager, and three business analysts.
  • Technical Specifications: Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement them.
  • Database Programming: Develop business application processes and write complex T-SQL queries against SQL Server databases.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Full Stack Development: Proficiency in C#, ASP, MVC, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, Web API (ASP.Net), SOAP, and REST.
  • ASP.NET Development: Extensive experience in developing ASP.NET applications.
  • Event Logging and Auditing: Experience integrating event logging and auditing features into applications.
  • Data Protection: Experience in protecting data within databases and during data transit.
  • T-SQL Development: Proficient in T-SQL development, including writing views, stored procedures, functions, and indexing techniques.
  • Dynamic SQL: Ability to code and troubleshoot dynamic SQL stored procedures.
  • ETL Routines: Experience in designing and developing ETL routines using T-SQL and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Data Visualizations: Experience developing data visualizations using Reporting Services (SSRS) and related tools.
  • SDLC and Tools: Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Team Foundation Server (TFS), Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS), and Visual Studio.
  • Testing: Ability to create test data and thoroughly test T-SQL code.
  • Deadline Management: Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Security Projects: Prior experience working on security-focused development projects.
  • Federal Compliance: Familiarity with federal regulations regarding audit logging and data security.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to work effectively with the IRSS development team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
