Apogee is known for an unwavering dedication to our client's success, a warm and employee-centric work environment, and an enthusiasm to provide the right solution at the right time.   What you will be doing: * Collaborating with information engineers to establish system information requirements for NC3 enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems. * Designing NC3 architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces. * Evaluating problems of workflows, organization, and planning and developing appropriate corrective action. * Incorporating reference models and profiles of standards into specifications for Information Management solutions. * Collaborating with Configuration Management team to ensure requirements are incorporated into process workflows, coordinating with the NC3 community, and presenting findings/recommendations to the System Engineering and Architecture Board. * Supporting the change process, reviewing Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Operational Certification Packages (OCP), and other associated artifacts so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software. * Providing advice to the Government on continuous improvement recommendations to the SE&I Systems Engineering Rubric for evaluating the merits of new/enhanced NC3 capabilities. What you will need: * Security Clearance Required – Top Secret w/ SCI Eligibility  * One of the following education/experience combinations:  * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field with 5+ years’ relevant experience in systems architecture, including establishing requirements, design, and ensuring interoperability for information management systems or enterprises, OR * 11+ years relevant experience in lieu of degree, including 5+ years experience in systems architecture, including establishing requirements, design, and ensuring interoperability for information management systems or enterprises * Working knowledge of International Standards Organization (ISO) and Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) reference models * Ability to work well within a team and to execute tasks independently * Strong written and oral communication skills * Strong command of MS Office suite tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * NC3 experience (desired) Benefits:  * Apogee offers two medical plans, a high deductible health plan with a HSA and HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military, and jury duty paid leaves. Regular part time employees scheduled for twenty-four or more hours per work week are eligible for benefits on a pro-rated basis.  *  This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.  * The base pay for this position ranges from $93,000 to $154,000 across the U.S. There is a different range applicable for specific work locations. Base pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, training and education.
