SME Instructor Sensors (SAR, Motion GEOINT, LIDAR, OPIR): General Duties and Experience: Delivers in-resident and distributed learning instructional programs in accordance with course requirements. Uses instructional methods such as guided discussions, lectures, demonstrations, small group exercises, seminars, workshops, and laboratories. Uses instructional technology, including but not limited to Blackboard. Conducts assessment strategy in accordance with the course design, including instructor observation, testing, and grading. Provides formal and informal student feedback. Provides subject matter expertise throughout the curriculum creation process, including content review and feedback to development staff. Relevant instructional experience includes, but is not limited to, experience developing and delivering technical training and educational courses in academic, commercial, government, or industrial organizations. This position has an alternate location of St. Louis, MO. Job Criteria: * Experience working with or instructing one or several of the following: Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR), creating LIDAR derived products, including line of sight, helicopter landing zones, and slope analysis Motion GEOINT data types, including Full Motion Video (FMV), Moving Target Indicator (MTI) data, Wide Area Motion Imagery (WAMI), hyperspectral imagery (HSI), and LiDAR Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) OPI * Experience in GEOINT analysis with a focus on multiple sensors and their capabilities. * Experience with Quick Terrain Modeler (QTM); ARCGIS, QGIS, or an equivalent GIS system; Geospatial Repository and Data Management System (GRiD); RemoteView; SOCET GXP; and Mensuration Services Program (MSP) Job Qualifications: * Documented experience with one or more of the following software packages: ENVI, Remote View and mensuration plug-ins, SAR Motion Simulator, AGITK Spiral 11, DIVA, DotMatrix and MOVINT Client * Possess a working knowledge of specific phenomenology (LIDAR, OPIR, SAR, IR, Spectral, OPIR), Motion Imagery (FMV or LVSD/WAS), MTI, and or other existing or emerging GEOINT sources or applications, exploitation methods, and analysis techniques. * Documented experience within the last 36 months using specific phenomenology (LIDAR, OPIR, SAR, Spectral, IR), Motion Imagery (FMV or LVSD/WAS), MTI, or other existing or emerging GEOINT data sources. Experience: * Level 1: Bachelor's degree in area of expertise plus three years of experience: no waivers on the bachelor's degree * Level 2: Bachelor's degree in area of expertise plus eight years of experience; no waivers on the bachelor's degree Desired Education: * Desired degrees in one of the following: Geodetic Science, Photogrammetry, Computer Science, Imagery Science, Physical Science, Remote Sensing, Thermodynamics, Geophysics, or Mathematics. Desired Minimum Instructional Experience: * Three years of relevant instructor experience. Security Clearance: * TS/SCI with willingness to take CI Poly (if required)
