Summary You will serve as a SECURITY ASSISTANT in the SECURITY OFFICE of NAVSTA MAYPORT FL SEC DET. Duties * You will conduct physical security inspections of classified and unclassified areas. * You will correct automated database information to ensure that the appropriate level of access has been granted. * You will discuss matters with team members and security subject matter specialists to determine impact on plans or security issues. * You will assist with formal inspections of facilities, layout plans, and designs to determine effectiveness of existing security measures and practices. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Perform and/or monitor standardized aspects of established security program operations; 2) Assist and guides staff in the procedural work of the office and in preparation of correspondence; 3) Perform duties with the support for support for the Vehicle Control Program; and 4) Knowledge of administrative and supply policies, also knowledgeable of various Non-Guard Security programs. **NOTE** This information must be clearly supported in your resume.
