R-00121556 Description Leidos is seeking a Load Balance System Administrator to maintain a large enterprise IT contract for the Department of Defense. This role will execute the implementation, operations, and maintenance of load balancer technologies in a global enterprise across multiple networks. Duties include updating to new technologies, tuning performance, and implementation of critical system patches. This infrastructure may include on-premises and cloud resources. Successful candidates will possess the following skills: * Ensure Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) offloading and brokering PKI authentication features provided by the F5 appliance is operational at all times
* Ensure load balancing configurations and  Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) are backed up in accordance with customer policies
* Alert load balancing and reverse proxy customers prior to PKI certificate expiration and assist with certificate renewals as necessary
* Create, manage, and troubleshoot load balanced IP address spaces
* Develop and implement technical solutions in partnership with engineers and architects
* Provide after-hours maintenance and technical assistance to 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with troubleshooting service outages
* Develop and update technical solutions, operating procedures and other documentation for 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with initial troubleshooting and triage efforts Basic Qualifications: * Expertise in administering and managing F5 load balancer appliances in an enterprise environment
* Knowledge of standards, concepts, and tools to be able to complete technology monitoring and management of F5 appliances.
* Technical knowledge backing up PKI certificates and appliance configurations.
* Extensive knowledge creating, managing, and troubleshooting load balanced IP address spaces. 
* Works objectively in direct execution  of customer deliverables and meets deadlines with team members on implementation and solutions
* Familiar with IT Service Management products such as ServiceNow Certifications: * Candidate will, at a minimum, meet DoD 8570.11- IAT Level II certification requirements (currently Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP)
* Candidate must possess an F5 Certified Administrator (201) or higher certification Education: * Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Masters with 6 years
* Education equivalency of Associate’s with 10 years of related experience or High School Diploma with 12 years of related experience can be used in lieu of Bachelor’s . Security Clearance: * Due to the nature of the government contracts we support, US Citizenship is required.
* TS/SCI with Poly is required for position or a TS/SCI and willingness to get a Poly. Original Posting Date: 2023-10-20

Pay Range: Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
