Automated Test Engineer with Security Clearance

DSA is seeking a highly qualified Automated Test Engineer for a full-time position in Charlottesville, VA. This is a hybrid position. Candidate must have an active secret clearance. DSA supports Army G-2 and NGIC on this contract as the Prime. This is a critical Biometric mission, new technologies, room for career advancement, remote support & flexible schedule. Program supports a critical mission requirement utilizing new technologies (Cloud, AI/Client, Data Science). The supported program is increasing government stakeholders and funding streams so major technical and programmatic growth. I2AR houses the Biometrically Enabled Watchlist (BEWL), the system of record for storing, maintaining, and providing the warfighter and intelligence analysts an ability to query biometric modalities (fingerprint, iris scan, voice and video) of non-US persons. The Automated Test Engineer will * Create systems for automated unit, integration, UI, and performance testing * Develop test cases, plans and scripts for automated testing * Generate test data * Support software configuration management and documentation * Support Agile sprint planning activities * Support demonstrations and test events with mission stakeholders * Create and execute manual test plans * Provide subject matter expertise to the software engineering team for software testing and deployment solutions Required Qualifications * Either BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 5 years' experience, or 8 years' experience without a degree * DoD Secret (TS/SCI preferred) * 5 years' experience supporting large scale and complex systems in a distributed environment using Java, Groovy, or another programming language paired with automated testing tools * Experience creating and implementing testing methods, utilizing programming languages to create testing scripts, and documenting software testing procedures * Experience writing and executing manual test plans * Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs * Experience translating requirements and acceptance criteria into test cases and automated test scripts using automated tools * Experience performing analysis of failed tests and maintaining and updating tests based on continuous feedback * Experience working in an Agile software development environment * Experience conducting code reviews * Familiarity with DevOps (CI/CD) pipeline concepts and tools * Familiarity with Docker Containers * Ability to support and troubleshoot issues on Linux * Current Security+ CE Desired Qualifications: * DoD 8570.01 IAT or IAM Level II certification * Experience working with AWS * Familiarity with the concept, implementation, and operations associated with DevSecOps * Experience with Government standards and procedures. * Experience migrating legacy applications to modern frameworks * Experience with Elastic Map Reduce, Solr, Accumulo & Groovy * Excellent organizational & communication skills, in both spoken and written English * Strong problem-solving and people skills DSA specializes in providing cutting-edge data analysis and technology solutions to our government customers.
