QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST with Security Clearance

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience: 1) A demonstrated practical knowledge in monitoring, controlling, or maintaining the quality of products or services in quality assurance, procurement, inspection, production, or related areas; 2) Review production activities and capabilities in light of contract quality requirements; 3) Review written quality or inspection procedures for adequacy, and evaluating the implementation and effectiveness of quality/inspection systems, including sampling plans; 4) Analyzing quality data to detect unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in the quality/inspection system; 5) Computing data, summarizing results, and preparing reports or charts depicting pertinent relationships using statistical methods. GS-09:

Examples of specialized experience: 1) Demonstrating knowledge in monitoring, controlling, or maintaining the quality of products or services in quality assurance, procurement, inspection, production, or related areas such as aircraft paint, E-2 aircraft, and Vertical Lift aircraft; 2) Performing analysis by reviewing sketches, engineering drawings and data, pertinent specifications, and available equipment to identify characteristics critical to product acceptability; 3) Conducting inspections and audits of materials, products, processes, and services for conformance to specifications and requirements.; 4) Analyzing data to detect unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in the quality or verification program; 5) Preparing technical reports documenting inspections, testing results, or deficiencies and recommending corrective action.
