Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Title: Systems Engineer Location: Chantilly, VA *Clearance: *Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph needed to apply * Company Overview: Cornerstone Defense, in partnership with our military, intelligence, and civil government customers, supports U.S. operations worldwide through the use of many different types of intelligence, satellite, and cyber technologies. Cornerstone's Intelligence Sector provides solutions to the United States Government for information collection, operations, exploitation and dissemination, and research activities. Our Team specializes in software development, cloud architecture, systems and network engineering, systems integration, agile management, as well as targeting operations and intelligence analysis. Our support to our mission customers includes cyber network operations, exploitation and defense, signals intelligence, human intelligence, and critical missions and networks. Work Requirement: The Sponsor relies on a variety of software capabilities to perform its duties. The Sponsor requires support specializing in SharePoint administration to manage day-to-day activities of the Sponsor's SharePoint infrastructure. Work will include performing SharePoint administration, enhancements, Maintenance and Operations (O&M) tasks, and providing ad-hoc user support. Project priorities shall be managed by the Sponsor's Information Technology (IT) Leader or designate. Work Requirement: The Contractor shall work closely with the Sponsor for work prioritization. The Contractor shall execute SharePoint tasks as necessary to maintain the Sponsor's environment in accordance with overall enterprise support. The Contractor shall comply with Sponsor requirements or IT best practices. The Contractor shall provide a full range of SharePoint support assistance. The Contractor shall perform SharePoint administration and system upgrade duties as needed. The Contractor shall interact with end users to troubleshoot issues, gather and elucidate requirements, explaining end user procedures and techniques either in person or over the phone to users. The Contractor shall interact with Sponsor's staff and contractors, and participate in vendor support meetings in order to resolve issues. The Contractor shall comply with IT enterprise oversight requirements. The Contractor shall perform all necessary functions required to maintain the Sponsor's SharePoint application. Mandatory Skills 1. Demonstrated experience managing a SharePoint environment. 2. Demonstrated experience as a SharePoint Site Collection Administrator (SCA) and the ability to obtain within the Sponsor's organization. 3. Demonstrated experience working with users to identify, validate, and prioritize SharePoint site issues and requirements. 4. Demonstrated experience assigning, editing and maintaining user roles and permissions. 5. Demonstrated experience making SharePoint configuration changes required to resolve issues to comply with industry standards. 6. Demonstrated experience making SharePoint configuration changes required to resolve issues, or to comply with requirements or IT best practices. 7. Demonstrated experience working with an enterprise team to ensure the health and safety of SharePoint. 8. Demonstrated experience creating and enhancing workflow architectures in SharePoint. 9. Demonstrated experience migrating, configuring, and developing SharePoint sites with improved functionality. 10. Demonstrated experience improving performance, stability, and optimization of SharePoint sites. 11. Demonstrated experience performing Create, Read, Update and Delete (CRUD) operations using the Representational State Transfer (REST) interface provided by SharePoint. 12. Demonstrated experience creating and managing document libraries. 13. Demonstrated experience maintaining SharePoint sites, custom lists, content types, and workflows. 14. Demonstrated experience using PowerShell scripts for systems automation and creating administrative tasks in SharePoint. 15. Demonstrated experience working with developers to perform system tests and deployments of a SharePoint environment. 16. Demonstrated experience conducting quality assurance on SharePoint. 17. Demonstrated experience communicating technical and non-technical recommendations for improving user interfaces. 18. Demonstrated experience training users. 19. Demonstrated experience updating user documents and libraries. 20. Demonstrated experience creating user manuals. Optional Skills 1. Demonstrated experience in creating graphical user interface pages tailored to user needs. 2. Demonstrated experience creating and managing document libraries using SharePoint Online to enhance user collaboration and communication. 3. Demonstrated experience using SharePoint InfoPath Forms. 4. Demonstrated experience using Power BI 5. Demonstrated experience with HTML5. 6. Demonstrated experience with SQL. 7. Demonstrated experience with .NET. 8. Demonstrated experience with C#. 9. Demonstrated experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS v3 or higher). 10. Demonstrated experience using JavaScript programming including jQuery.
