WORK DESCRIPTION:

We seek a driven, results-oriented individual to support the network team. This individual's primary responsibilities will include managing the existing wireless aspect of our software-defined network infrastructure and expanding that infrastructure to other locations. The primary responsibilities of this position are:

  • Inventory of all current wireless infrastructure.
  • Status checks and issue resolution of any known issues currently in production before expanding to additional sites.
  • Expand the service-defined network wireless infrastructure to additional campuses and sites.
  • Create, update, and maintain operational documentation.
  • Configuration, installation, and management of new access points.
  • Weekly status reports.
  • Daily monitoring of system status.
  • Resolution of tier-1 generic network incidents and requests.
  • Resolution of tier-2 and 3- technology-specific incidents and requests supporting wireless service.
