Job Title: System Analyst

Location: Natick, MA

Duration: Long Term

 

Experience: 2+ years of experience.

 

Qualification: Bachelor’s in computer science or closely related field

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Business stakeholders to gather and analyse data integration requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of the desired functionality and objectives,
  • Design and develop data integration solution using IBM DataStage, including job design, transformation logic, and data flows, to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of DataStage jobs to ensure efficient data processing and optimal system performance.
  • Work with database administrators and data architects to design and implement data models and schemas that support data integration and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and quality assurance analysts, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of data integration solutions.
  • Perform data profiling and data quality analysis to identify and address data anomalies, inconsistencies, and data integrity issues within the DataStage environment.
  • Conduct system and regression testing of DataStage jobs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data integration processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot DataStage job failures and system errors, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate solutions or workarounds.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, trouble-shooting issues related to DataStage jobs, data transformations, and data loading processes.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends, best practices, and new features of the IBM DataStage, continuously improving technical skills and optimizing data integration processes.
