Job Description Enlighten is seeking a proven Proposal Coordinator who incorporates the proposal capture strategy, proposal themes, customer hot buttons, and discriminators through assigned sections. This position will work closely with the Capture Manager, Proposal Manager, Proposal Lead, Proposal Writing Team, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and functional departments as necessary (e.g., Contracts/Subcontracts, Quality, Procurement, Business Development) for proposal content. Will coordinate proposal evaluation and creation following the approved proposal processes, participates in reviews, provides pricing support, maintains configuration control of assigned sections, creates the compliance matrix, and incorporates changes from all amendments and Q&As. Work will be hybrid out of our Columbia, MD office. #LI-DW2 #Mid-Senior Level Essential Job Responsibilities * Create templates and write proposal sections in accordance with the proposal schedule, the solicitation requirements/compliance matrix/proposal outline, and within the allocated page count.
* Develop any necessary data calls to complete the assigned sections and work with the Proposal Manager to issue those data calls to subcontractors and/or functional groups. * Coordinate and attend standup progress reviews to provide status of section writing assignments and other proposal actions assigned. * Review the Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI) and Request for White Paper (RWP) and assure clear understanding of all requirements
* Review all amendments and Q&As for impact to assigned proposal sections and incorporate changes as necessary
* Help prepare the annotated outline for the assigned proposal sections
* Ensure the assigned sections are compliant with all RFP/RFI/RWP and amendment documents / requirements.
* Track and coordinate the steps in the proposal process using Enlighten's ticket based tracking software
* Provide pricing support as needed
* Help formulate graphics to support written content
* Write all assigned sections through approved proposal lenses
* Incorporate the win strategy/proposal lenses/discriminators through assigned sections
* Work with SME resources to augment proposal content
* Maintain version control throughout RFP/RFI/RWP response lifecycle for assigned sections
* Work side by side with proposal manager to ensure successful completion of proposal process
* Review and adjudicate comments from reviewers
* Manage opportunities in Salesforce
* Attend and/or coordinate attendance of industry days
* Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications * A current U.S. Government security clearance is not required on day 1, but will be processed for a Secret level clearance; U.S. Citizenship required. Can also consider candidates with a current Secret as well.
* 6+ years of continuous proposal writing experience for large bid efforts in the areas of, but not limited to, management approaches, past performance and experience, quality plans, staffing plans, transition plans, and resumes with a B.A. in Professional Writing, Journalism, English, Communications or similar degree; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
* 4-6 years of progressive experience in fast-paced, high-volume proposal environment
* Expert-level proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant electronic tools
* Exceptional communications skills
* Basic knowledge/understanding of FAR and DFAR
* Experience supporting Task Orders under MAC and/or GWAC
* Experience working with multiple teaming partners to prepare compliant proposal
* Experience ensuring compliance with DoD/Federal solicitation requirements
* Prior experience building supporting pricing tasks
* Ability to multitask on concurrent projects

* Superior organizational skills
* Must be able to work hybrid schedule at the Columbia, MD office
