We are looking for an Information Security Analyst with demonstrated experience planning, documenting, implementing, upgrading, and monitoring security measures for the protection of computer network systems and information. *This job posting is for upcoming opportunities with AMERICAN SYSTEMS* As a Senior Information Security Analyst, you will: * Be a key contributor to the success of our employee-owned company * Work with advanced, innovative technology * Join a team of engaged, highly knowledgeable professionals * Receive a robust benefits package, to include our Employee Stock Ownership Plan A week in the life of a Senior Information Security Analyst: * Lead the team responsible for IA posture. * Assess system vulnerabilities, propose and implement risk mitigation strategies. * Troubleshoot technical problems with staff. * Maintain documentation of maintenance procedures carried out. * Contribute to the performance and success of warfighters for a program focused on Distance Learning (DL) related technologies and systems including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) support. * Serve as a lead for the team responsible for information assurance posture of networks and systems and support system certification and accreditation. * Ensure appropriate controls are in place to safeguard files and vital electronic infrastructure. * Lead the development of documentation to support certification of compliance to standards. * Ensure equipment is maintained and operational. * Assist in training staff on new technologies. Job Requirements * Active Top Secret Clearance * MS/MA degree and 10 years experience OR BS/BA degree and 14 years experience * At least 5 years of the experience must be in all phases of IA and cybersecurity. * At least 5 years of the experience must include practical experience in secure network and system design, analysis, test design, test execution, and implementation of security mechanisms. * Active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM). * Able to work well both independently and collaboratively in a team. * Proficiency with MS Office.
