Duties * Serves as the Director of Support and a senior intelligence advisor for the Commanding General, U.S. Army Counterintelligence Command (USACIC). * Develops and directs the planning and execution of financial processes, human resources management, military construction, facilities management, corporate information management, business planning, personnel resource assignments. * Applies broadly stated guidelines which require extensive interpretation by overseeing the management, direction, and fiscal responsibility for the Army Counterintelligence Programs. * Evaluates employee performance, sets performance standards and provides employees counseling as required and disciplinary action for employee performance. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * Two year trial/probationary period may be required. * In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI). * Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license. * Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel may be required 25% or less of the time. * All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management. Specialized experience is defined as experience managing and/or overseeing counterintelligence operations directly and experience in one of the following areas: Resource Management, logistic, personnel management, and/or manpower management. Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
