Summary You will serve as an Administrative Officer in Navy and Marine Corps Spectrum Center (NMSC) for NAVY MARINE CORPS SPECTRUM CENTER. Duties * You will be serving as the Budget Officer for the activity. * You will be developing, coordinating, and evaluating activity policies and regulations related to procurement and contracting procedures. * You will serve as the Administrative Personnel Liaison responsible for all civilian program areas such as processing personnel actions, overseeing performance program and employee relations. * You will analyze mission, management objectives, and organizational goals to determine current and projected personnel needs and potential placement issues. * You will oversee all travel functions within the command, including managing traveler profile information, appointment orders, and travel approvals. * You will administer training requirements, coordinating required reports, and addressing safety matters. * You will assume the critical role of Security Manager within the organization. * You will be formulating, evaluating, and reviewing all resource requirements. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. * Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience and mastery in DON financial management policies and processes.
Experience as a Defense Travel Administrator (DTA) is a prerequisite.
Experienced and extensive administrative background and a thorough understanding of Navy procedures, including correspondence, management, and file systems.
